Vactum: How do you like Berlin?
It’s the first time for me in Berlin and today I’m full of interviews so to be honest I didn’t get the time to enjoy the city, but hope to come back soon.
Vactum: What was your favourite city so far?
There are a lot of city I love, because each city has his own energy and landscapes but I gonna say that Los Angeles is maybe my favorite one, because the city give me so much inspiration.
Vactum: You say you have music in your blood. Has it always been this way?
Yes and to be honest it’s the only thing I’m able to do :).
Vactum: What were you doing professionally before you became a DJ?
I was 15 years old so I was only a student but not really the best one for my professors.
Vactum: What instruments do you play?
Vactum: Where or how did you learn to play instruments?
By myself, my dad was a musician so I start to learn with him.
Vactum: What DAW`s do you work with?
I’m working on Logic 9 but I’ll try soon Logic 10 (I’m a bit lazy)
Vactum: Where did you get your inspiration from?
I have the chance to travel a lot and a cinema lover, so I find my inspiration in everything I see or hear, sometime I can hear a sound in a street musician and it give me ideas. That’s why I really happy to travel for my job, it help me a lot.
Vactum: What is your daily routine look like?
It depend of shows I had the weekend, but most of the time I spend the morning on internet, checking what’s going on in the music industry or on social networks then going to lunch and after spending the whole afternoon and the whole night in studio. People thinks that our life is incredible but it’s a normal life during the week :).
Vactum: What you like the most about beeing a musician?
Be able to play my music in front of people and see their reaction. Sometimes it’s amazing sometimes less than expected so it means that I need to work on it.
Vactum: What is most overrated thing in your business?
To be honest I don’t know but the most underrated is the talent I think, I met so many amazing artist on the road, they are so talented but 10 times less famous that an other artist with less talent.
Vactum: What would you advise someone who wants to be a DJ?
If you love it and can’t live without it, do your best to reach your goal. Means maybe having no life, no girlfriend, no family time etc…
Vactum: What musicians are you going to work with?
My upcoming track is with an Harmonica, so probably an harmonica player and then I would love to work with a full band.
Vactum: How do you imagine your future?
I don’t know, I just hope that my future will be full of happiness.
Vactum: Vactum comes from Switzerland. When may we welcome you here?
When I’ll be around? I have some shows this summer in Switzerland like at Rock Oz Arenes, maybe I can come and say hi
